Call for Nominations: Nancy Baym Annual Book Award

by | Apr 14, 2016 | Awards

We are pleased to call for nominations for the Nancy Baym Annual Book Award. This award recognizes the best scholarship of the Association of Internet Researchers, and highlights the breadth of work relating to the social and cultural dimensions of networked media. We will accept nominations (self and other) for the Baym Annual Book Award published during the calendar year of 2015. Edited collections are ineligible; the book must explore a single topic and be authored or co-authored as a monograph. The books will be reviewed by a committee of Tama Leaver, Curtin University; Stephanie Schulte, University of Arkansas; and chaired by Nancy Baym, Microsoft Research.

A nomination letter that describes how the book draws on and/or contributes to scholarship of the AoIR community should be emailed to the chair of the committee, Nancy Baym – baym at microsoft dot com.
