Internet's Impact on School Project

Abstract

In research on the Internet and education, parents, teachers, administrators and adults in general have all been surveyed about their thoughts and beliefs on how the Internet is being used for Education, both in and out of schools. In a recent study, Pew asks middle school and high school students in a series of 14 focus groups around the United States about the Internet and Learning. What is learning to America's youth, and how does the Internet play a roll in it? How are kids really using the Internet in the classroom? And outside of the classroom? What do schoolchildren think is working in the classroom and what isn't? And what are their visions for the future of education and educational technology?
